Idag är Lorett på dygn 50! :)
Jättevarmt idag, så jag får se vad hon och jag hittar på idag. Igår red Julia i paddocken och hon hade varit pigg att rida, men när Julia kom på eftermiddagen låg hon återigen ner i hagen. Nu blir det jag som har hand om henne själv i tre veckor eftersom Julia åkt till USA. Skulle gärna åka en sväng till havet med henne, Råå vallar. Får se om jag kan få till det på söndag kväll, alt i morgon bitti.
The embryo is now slightly over 2,5 cm long, nesting within the confines of the 8 cm vesicle. You can see tiny ribs under its skin; its domed head looks like that of a Chihuahua, and has developed a distinct skull. Little triangles represent its ears; the hock (=hasen) and fetlock joints (=kotlederna) have developed. At this stage, your future foal officially will graduate from embryo to fetus. On an ultrasound monitor, you'll find the fetus back on the vesicle's floor, due to a lengthening of the umbilical cord (=navelsträngen). Because of its present size-this will be your last opportunity to view the fetus via ultrasound; in a matter of weeks, it'll be too large for the screen.
